Tagged: Community Service
Communities around the world have been profoundly affected by the coronavirus. Healthcare workers in particular are risking their lives to help those who have been infected. The Clarksville Youth Care Group was founded to assist healthcare workers by making face shields for them.
During phases 1 ,2 and 3, we have proudly delivered 2,375 face shields to 85 healthcare groups in 7 states.
42 hospitals (Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland Medical Center, Howard County General Hospital, Urgent care, Patient first, Mercy Medical Center, Holy Cross Hospital, NIH and more) received these face shields for free.
At any age, anyone with enough spirit and initiative can make a difference in the world.
